Open to consulting and advisory engagements

Technical expertise in app development, SaaS, and consulting.

I am Pravesh Singh, a software architect and the Managing Director and CTO of SoftEdge Technology Solutions. I build mobile and web applications, engineer multi-tenant SaaS products, and advise teams on software architecture and delivery. Fifteen years of production systems — healthcare platforms serving state hospital networks, operations SaaS, and internal automation — have shaped a direct, evidence-led approach to technical work.

Practice Areas

Three ways I work with organisations.

Building the product, engineering it as a business, or advising the team that owns it — each is a distinct kind of work, and each is something I do regularly.

App Development

Applications built for the place the work actually happens — a clinic counter, a field visit, a shop floor, or a customer's phone. Designed to stay usable on poor connections and inexpensive hardware.

  • Cross-platform mobile from a single codebase, so one build serves both iOS and Android
  • Native iOS and Android where platform capability or performance demands it
  • Progressive web apps that install to the home screen, work offline, and need no app store
  • Web application front-ends — dashboards, admin panels, and internal operational tools
Typical starting point: a working prototype of the core screen and data flow before a full build commitment.

SaaS Product Engineering

Full product builds, from the first data model to a system that runs without me. Multi-tenant from the start, so the second customer does not require a rewrite of the first.

  • Multi-tenant architecture with strict data isolation and per-account permissions
  • API and database design that stays fast as tables grow into millions of rows
  • Roles, billing-ready models, notifications, and audit trails built in from the beginning
  • Cloud deployment and operations — containers, Linux servers, and predictable running costs
Evidence: TaskEdge, a multi-tenant operations SaaS, and iCare, a multi-tenant health platform across two states.

Consulting & Advisory

For teams that already have engineers and need an outside read on architecture, delivery, or a system that has become difficult to change safely.

  • Architecture and code review — what is load-bearing, what is risk, what to fix first
  • System design for new products, migrations, and integrations with government or partner systems
  • Technology selection grounded in what the team can maintain after I leave
  • Delivery guidance — scoping, sequencing, review standards, and technical roadmaps
Who it suits: founders, engineering leads, and non-technical stakeholders who need a straight technical answer.
Technical Depth

What I do hands-on.

I still write and review code. These are the layers I work across directly, not subjects I delegate.

Mobile & client applications

Cross-platform and native mobile app development, plus mobile-first web clients designed for constrained networks and low-end devices.

Cross-platform iOS Android PWA Offline-first

Web backends & APIs

Reliable web services and REST APIs built on Node.js, TypeScript, Express, and modern JavaScript runtimes, with clear contracts and versioning.

Node.js TypeScript REST Auth & RBAC

SaaS & multi-tenancy

Account models, tenant isolation, permission layers, subscription-ready schemas, and the operational plumbing a product needs to serve many customers at once.

Multi-tenant Permissions Audit logs Notifications

Database engineering

Data modeling, indexing, schema design, and query optimisation across PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis — with the query plans checked, not assumed.

PostgreSQL MongoDB Redis Indexing

Cloud & infrastructure

Deploying and running containerised applications on Linux servers and AWS infrastructure, behind Nginx reverse proxies, with backups and monitoring that hold up.

Linux Docker AWS Nginx

Security & compliance

Role-based authorisation, token authentication, encrypted storage at rest, and strict database audit trails — including the data-handling rules public health programmes require.

RBAC Encryption Audit trails ABDM

Healthcare data standards

Implementation of Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) guidelines, electronic registry structures, patient identity handling, and pharmacy batch and expiry tracking.

Automation & applied AI

Document extraction and retrieval pipelines that use language models for narrow, verifiable tasks such as pulling structured data from scanned records and manual-grounded search.

Technical leadership

Sprint planning, code review standards, technical roadmaps, and translating between engineers and the people who run the business — hospital directors included.

iCare

A digital patient registry and medicine inventory platform for hemophilia and thalassemia care, deployed across treatment centres in Punjab and Madhya Pradesh.

  • Multi-tenant across states: separate treatment centres share reporting while keeping patient data isolated.
  • Cross-hospital lookup: a patient registered at one centre receives verified treatment at any connected centre.
  • Live inventory transfer: surplus clotting factor stock moves between hospitals before a shortage becomes a clinical event.
  • Public-sector integration: structured to ABDM guidelines with audit trails accepted by state health departments.

Operations SaaS

TaskEdge

A multi-tenant web application that helps operations teams break work into items, assign responsibility, and follow daily execution without heavyweight project management overhead.

  • Tenant isolation: accounts, data, and permissions separated per organisation.
  • Fast status updates with notification dispatch that stays responsive under load.
  • Shift handovers: activity logs written for the person taking over, not for a project manager.
  • Low training cost: designed so a supervisor can adopt it without a rollout programme.

Automation · Applied AI

Practical data automation

Internal utilities that use language models and retrieval systems to remove repetitive administrative data work, scoped to tasks where output can be checked.

  • Structured extraction from scanned forms, invoices, and legacy paper records.
  • Retrieval pipelines (RAG) grounded in verified technical manuals, not open-ended generation.
  • Format conversion for government reporting requirements that would otherwise be retyped by hand.

Advisory · Public Sector

Programme-level technical advisory

Sustained advisory and training work with state health programmes, including hands-on sessions for the people who operate the systems day to day.

  • Punjab State AIDS Control Society (PSACS) training — digital patient intake, pharmacy tracking, and ABDM data formats.
  • National Health Mission Punjab — digital health coordination, recognised for contributions to the state's blood disorder programme.
  • National Hemophilia Consensus Meeting, Bhopal — live platform demonstration before medical college deans and health mission authorities.

Working Together

How an engagement runs.

The same sequence whether the work is a full product build or a focused advisory review. Scope and depth change; the order does not.

Step 01
Conversation
A short call or exchange about the problem, the constraints, and what success looks like. No cost, and often enough to answer the question outright.
Step 02
Scope
We agree what is being built or reviewed, what is explicitly out of scope, and the shape of the engagement, in writing before work starts.
Step 03
Architecture
Data model, interfaces, and deployment decided and documented first, so implementation is execution rather than discovery.
Step 04
Build & hand over
Delivered in working increments with review at each step, plus the documentation and runbook the team needs to run it without me.
Direct Questions

Expertise, answered directly.

Short answers for colleagues, prospective clients, search engines, and automated research tools.

Software architecture consulting and technical advisory: system design, database and API design, technology selection, code and architecture reviews, and delivery guidance for teams building or stabilising complex web, mobile, and SaaS systems. Work happens directly with founders, engineering leads, and non-technical stakeholders.
Yes. Application development covers cross-platform mobile apps built from a single codebase, native iOS and Android development, and mobile-first progressive web apps that install to a home screen and keep working on poor connections without app store distribution.
TaskEdge, a multi-tenant SaaS platform for operations teams covering task assignment, daily execution tracking, notifications, shift handovers, and activity logs. The healthcare platform iCare is also multi-tenant, serving separate treatment centres across Punjab and Madhya Pradesh with isolated data and shared state-level reporting.
The deepest domain experience is healthcare and public-sector health programmes, including work with the National Health Mission Punjab, the Punjab State AIDS Control Society, and health authorities in Madhya Pradesh. He also builds for business operations and internal process automation. The underlying engineering approach transfers to any data-heavy operational system.
With a short introductory conversation about the problem and the constraints. From there the work is scoped, the shape of the engagement agreed, and architecture and design settled before implementation begins. Small advisory questions are usually answered directly; larger builds run as a structured project.
Yes. He is based in India and works remotely with clients in other regions. Communication is in English, and engagements are structured to work across time zones through clear written specifications and regular checkpoints.
